St Patrick’s Day Feast!

Every St. Patrick’s Day Doug and I host a Feast of cornbeef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and homemade irish soda bread at our house…well this year we will not be able to hold our feast at our house due to the kitchen (or lack of kitchen) being under construction. Yes! it is finally happening…we are getting a new kitchen!!

We still want to host the dinner but we need help! I am going to open the Studio up and invite all of you to come and enjoy a pot luck dinner! We can make it our pre-season kick-off party!

I will still make cornbeef and veggies but I will have to pass the irish soda to someone with an oven! :)

So bring a dish to share and your favorite drink (maybe Randy will bring some of his homemade beer).

Early Spring?

Well I am hopeful we have made it through most of winter! It has been mild and I like that!

So what have you been doing to keep active this winter? I have seen a few of you out on your bikes. And I have heard talk about spinning at the bike shop. What else have you been up to?

Doug and I started the Couch to 5k running program back in December. We were doing great when in week 6 Doug hurt his knee. That put him out of the running and into physical therapy! Bummer! I, however, am still running. I have to be honest it was easier to run with a partner…I have missed a couple mornings now do to cold weather! I have not missed much!

We are excited for an early riding season!! So COME ON SPRING!!
